This 40 page paper, including executive summary, examines the way in which the Intercontinental hotel in Hong Kong may retain its position as the market leader in hospitality industry. After a brief introduction the paper examines the position of the hospitality industry in Hong Kong and then looks at the competition faced by Intercontinental. A SWOT analysis is used to analyse the position of the hotel internally and within a broader environment.
