Editors and executive officers in charge of mass media operations have formatted over 33 known codes of ethics and values in the media. Many of the codes of ethics deal with public relations and moral dilemmas, conflict of interest issues, timeless values, new technology, sources and reporters, editorial independence and diversity issues among other areas of concern.
