Blake's 'The Tyger'
Number of pages:
5
ABSTRACT:
A 5 page paper discussing what has been described as one of William Blake's most important poems. The Tyger is so powerful, invincible and barely controlled that the narrator wonders how it could be possible that the same Creator who imagined and created the lamb could also have produced the Tyger by the same processes. It seems barely possible to the narrator that the Tyger could spring from any Being possessing the obvious goodness that surely must have been requisite in order to create the gentle, trusting lamb. Blake answers no questions, but rather leaves it to the reader to answer the questions for himself. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
