ABSTRACT:
A 10 page paper describing safety conditions on the main campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and devising a plan to address vegetation concerns using Crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). The plan calls for the 52-member, fully credentialed campus police department to conduct the initial and first follow-up assessments of the 550-acre main campus and its 220 buildings, then shifting responsibility for continuity to UT's landscaping department.
