Six pages and four sources used. This paper provides an overview of the legal elements related to law suits for food related illnesses. This paper considers the issue of food contamination and how food contamination cases can be litigated. This paper views both food contamination laws and tort laws as they can be applied to issues of food contamination and the suffering of damages that extend from the presence of food related illnesses due to contaminants. This paper looks at specific case information in clarifying this perspective.
