6 pages in length. California law enforcement has been under considerable scrutiny of late with regard to how its police organization operates from a perspective of responsibility and accountability. For counties up and down the Golden State, issues of brutality, excessive force and unwarranted shootings have caused citizens to rally and demand change. With such incidents as the Rodney King beating in Los Angeles and several questionable gunfire-related confrontations in Fresno, the state's law enforcement operations have been called to the carpet for answers.
