Correlation Between Nutrition And Depression
Number of pages:
6
ABSTRACT:
6 pages in length. The mind and body do not work independently of each other but rather reflect a synergistic union that depends upon the health of each entity to fortify the connect. When the body is not receiving appropriate nutrition for proper development, the brain - one of the largest and most complicated of all organs - cannot establish the necessary functional properties for growth which therefore hinders the level of cognitive and emotional formation while at the same time promotes abnormal psychological development. Depression is a proven offshoot of poor nutritional choices, a situation that can occur at any time in life from infancy to adolescence and into old age. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
