An 8 page paper which analyzes the experiences that Emily Dickinson wrote about (her thematic preoccupations); the techniques she employed to make these experiences vivid; the relationship between the content of the works to poetic form to determine whether form follows function; to what extent she is an “idea” poet as opposed to being primarily interested in conjuring significant images, etc.; her unique style and content markers that distinguishes her poems; and biographical elements that shaped her view of the world and influenced her craft.
