Number of pages:

ABSTRACT:
7 pages in length. Between 1900 and 1945, American men and women of various racial, ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds interacted with one another. When examining which term/phrase best describes these dynamic relationships, the single most word that comes to mind is that of discrimination; while these various levels of interaction may appear advantageous on the outside, they actually reflected the significant separation that existed between and among these individual populations. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
