Economic Constraints of Apartheid, International Sanctions, and Government Response
Number of pages:

ABSTRACT:
This 6 page report discusses South Africa’s apartheid and the fact that the economic crisis of South Africa began long before the 1970s brought the practice of apartheid to the notice and condemnation of the rest of the world. The financial and trade sanctions were unabashedly designed to weaken the terms of trade available to South Africa and encourage the “flight” of capital and direct foreign investment in the country.
