ABSTRACT:
An 11 page paper discussing HP's strategy within the framework of a P.E.S.T. analysis. The company can use its political and environmental positions to its advantage, but the areas of greatest strength are those of social and technological consideration. If HP will maintain its social views, its position within the global corporate community can only continue to improve. Additionally, HP's greatest strength has always been its technological innovation. The primary and most enduring weakness has been its ability to identify and then follow a strategy. With its focus on Internet services and evaluation of research, the company's current strategy appears to be a sound one that will serve the company well. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
