ABSTRACT:
This 15 page report discusses Poland’s economic recovery over the past decade since the fall of communism.

For the most part, the government has successfully restructured their state firms before selling them off. Poland has been able to deal with its banks' bad debts and is now working to privatize its banking system. The overhaul of the Polish economic system was one of extraordinary complexity. Various aspects of that process and the processes of investment in Poland are presented. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
