James H. Ward's "Army Transforms Information Systems Management Paradigm" - Critical Review
Number of pages:

ABSTRACT:
4 pages in length. Determining whether Information Systems Management (ISM) in the Military serves to improve the conditions of military operations or has led to a greater threat is best achieved by analyzing James H. Ward's article in the November, 2003, issue of SIGNAL Magazine entitled "Army Transforms Information Systems Management Paradigm." According to Ward, the implementation of ISM is not only a primary force in strengthening Army communication and service, but it is sorely overdue. The counter argument to Ward's enthusiastic response is that while technology is certainly a viable and valuable commodity in today's military, there are lengths to which the Army should not go when it comes to potential breach of security. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
