Policy Analysis Of Battered Women
Number of pages:

ABSTRACT:
20 pages in length. The extent to which the prevalence of battered women has reached its apex is both grand and far-reaching; that legislation exists to address this perpetual behavior speaks to the regularity this social ill persists. While all states experience much the same occurrence of battered women, as well as their respective legislation to deal with its frequency, Michigan has historically been slow to reach the same levels of protective legislation as other states around the country. Therefore, this paper will recognize the incidence of battered women both nationally and from Michigan's narrower perspective, as well as address the improvements Michigan's legislative policy has made over the recent past. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
