Robert E. Lee: Influences Upon The Civil War
Number of pages:
8
ABSTRACT:
8 pages in length. Robert E. Lee was both a shrewd and defiant military man. It can be argued that his influences upon the Civil War were such that had he not been a primary participant in the battle, history would have recorded the ultimate outcome as having been significantly different. It was not unlike Lee to utilize every means possible in order to gain an edge over the enemy, which included a seemingly insignificant act of reading the northern newspapers carefully for clues to troop movements. The writer discusses the influences Lee had upon the Civil War. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
