Science Fiction: Searching For God
Number of pages:
5
ABSTRACT:
5 pages in length. The primary lesson to be learned from the film is that God is not a tangible destination as Sybok depicts it to be, but rather God's existence can only be measure within one's very soul. Shatner's direction in "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" is significantly in tuned with the vastness of God's existence as it relates directly to science fiction, which is evident by his use of deviant subculture portrayals and distorted social control imagery. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
