ABSTRACT:
10 pages in length. Study hypothesis: How the special needs student benefits from classroom training prior to seeking gainful employment. This qualitative design maintained an informal study setting of ten special needs students who were ready to transition from school to work. The study population reflected a variance of near graduates and those who had already graduated from the small engine program. Questionnaires were used to collect the data. The type of reliability and validity of the measurement tools was indicated by academic and psychosocial realms. Ethical concerns were addressed. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
