ABSTRACT:
This 35 page paper looks at the drivers and potential benefits as well as the disadvantages that are associated with the implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP). The paper starts with an introduction outlines aims and objectives and a justification for the research. An in depth literature review looks at a number of issues considering the implementation of ERP, including what it is, the drivers for its' adoption, the key success factors for implementation at a practical and a human level and the potential problems. The paper then looks at Nestle, a large company hat have been implementing an ERP strategy and considerers the case study in the context of the previous literature review. The bibliography cites 37 sources.
