The fundamental context of business has changed so significantly over the past several years that an entirely new approach has overtaken the manner by which global commerce is executed. The extent to which every component of business application – from Human Resources to executive leadership and everything in between – has metamorphosed in order to achieve the same results as those rendered fifty years ago is a testament to how the very foundation of business has undergone tremendous change; that individual employees must now infuse their own personal style of self-leadership, self-motivation and self-discipline speaks to the increased value each worker has in the company's overall productivity. Of the vast number of critical components employees have to apply when conducting technical professional self-assessments, the student will note how some of the most important include empowerment, team building, open communication, problem solving, addressing conflict, quality management and change resistance.
