This 28 page paper chronicles the JonBenet Ramsey murder case beginning with an overview of the case, including comments about the media frenzy and an outline of the mistakes the police made. The next section presents the 'evidence' of the case, including excerpts from the 911 call made by the mother, a chronology of the morning's events, issues surrounding the ransom note, the contradictions in the Ramseys' stories, the inconclusive autopsy report, and the many theories put forth over the years, each supported by evidence by their authors. The next section is an analysis of the evidence. Here again, the contradictions, the inconsistencies and conflicting evidence are discussed, including the behaviors of the parents, and the theories that are supported. The inept handling of the case by the police department is discussed. In the last section, the writer makes recommendations for further action. Bibliography lists 19 sources.
