ABSTRACT:
A 13 page paper discussing expansion of a Chinese company into Australia. Australia appears to be a good choice for Timax’s international expansion. Fully Western in its culture, Australia knows well how to deal with Western businesses, while also being attuned to the Asian culture. Australia’s economy is more robust than most of those of the West, and it currently seeks to become much more focused on global trade than in the past. Australia offers promise for current expansion, as well as being useful in a liaison position for further international expansion in the future. The purpose here is to provide some of the many questions that the company will need to ask prior to committing to any expansion into Australia. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
